  • Join UMBC community leaders and experts on Friday, April 23 at 3 p.m. as they answer questions about COVID-19 vaccines. Learn about the science behind vaccines, common myths, and tips on scheduling appointments. Students are encouraged to submit questions. Register and learn more here.

Counseling Center Resources

  • The UMBC Counseling Center offers resources for students, faculty, and staff, ranging from anti-racism to self help to having difficult conversations. You are strongly encouraged to educate yourself on the resources which are available to you or someone you are helping. Check out the new Togetherall program, which is a free online peer-to-peer community for students and offers a safe and anonymous place to support your mental health 24/7.

On-Campus Virus Detection Pilot

  • Check out this recent Baltimore Sun article about how UMBC is piloting a technology called BioFlash to detect the virus that causes COVID-19 in the air inside on-campus spaces as part of a broader mitigation strategy.
