Welcome to UMBC’s 2021 Maryland Charity Campaign. We hope that you will consider participating to support local nonprofit organizations and communities across Maryland. This year, the need across our state has only intensified as we continue to navigate these challenging times.
We are proud that our UMBC community has made nearly 5,000 individual gifts, totalling more than $1.1 million over the past five campaigns. In 2020, we received the Governor’s Cup, recognizing UMBC as the top participant among all state agencies. Your generosity has made UMBC a shining example of what it means to be a caring neighbor.
Over the next few months, you will hear regularly from our Maryland Charity Ambassadors - your colleagues - about what inspires them to give. This work would not be possible without the work of these committed community members. We hope that you will ask them how to get involved and to share the organizations you support.
